2026 NCCTM Annual Fall Conference

During this session, participants will engage in an algebra task as learners. They will discover the importance of guiding students through five critical phases. First, by establishing a concrete representation, then building a table, followed by writing an equation, and making a generalization. Finally, participants will collaborate with peers to design or modify an elementary algebra task.
