This session explores how vertical alignment between Grades 5–6 can strengthen the transition from fractions to ratios and proportional reasoning. Through task analysis, misconception mapping, and collaborative routines, participants will examine ways to align models, language, and representations to build deeper conceptual understanding and reduce common learning gaps.
