Friday November 6, 2026 1:20pm - 2:20pm EST
Participants will analyze contrasting elementary math lessons and discuss how a lesson-design framework inspired by literary theory can help teachers sequence tasks so mathematical ideas unfold through inquiry, productive discourse, and moments of surprise. Participants will leave with practical ways to rethink lesson design to support curiosity, awe, student ownership, and sense-making.
