Storytelling with Historical Data: An Exploration of Rosenwald Schools for Statistics Students

Learning how data becomes narrative provides students a deeper understanding of statistical research. Participants will dive into a historical dataset about Rosenwald schools and find the many stories and narratives which appear by using CODAP. Comparisons and relevance provide a groundwork of statistical intrigue which fosters a deep understanding of how statistics play into the world today.
