Exploring the new High School North Carolina Mathematics Standards

This session will provide an opportunity for participants to explore the newly revised High School Mathematics standards through the lens of progressions and mathematical and statistical practices. The newly revised High School Mathematics standards will be shared and timelines for installation and implementation will be discussed.

Secondary Mathematics Consultant, NC DPI

Lisa Ashe is a Secondary Mathematics Consultant with the NC Department of Public Instruction. Prior to coming to the state department, she has been a high school mathematics teacher, a school-based math instructional facilitator and a PK-12 District Curriculum Specialist.
