Statistics activities to help grades 3-5 teachers exceed standards with engaging data lesson plans

This session will prepare teachers to work with data in the classroom, supporting the proposed NC State Standards for measurement and data in grades 3 to 5. Participants will work through hands-on, student-ready activities to help build understanding of variability, data collection, visualization, and developing statistical questions using categorical, numeric and time-based numeric data.
