About me
Sunghwan conducts research on how teachers can make their data science, mathematics, and statistics lessons more equitable. He is particularly interested in teaching lessons with authentic data and identifying ways to better serve students with historically marginalized backgrounds. Prior to his academic career, he was a high school mathematics teacher and a National Board Certified Teacher.
