Building Understanding of the Role of Statistics and Data Science in the 6-12 Mathematics Classroom

In this session, participants will explore how mathematics, statistics, and data science are complementary yet distinct disciplines. Through discussion and a hands-on, classroom-ready data investigation, teachers will examine strategies for helping students work with data and make evidence-based claims.
