Participants will use NotebookLM’s video tools to visualize math structures for learners, with the focus on English Learners. Through collaborative design, we’ll explore how AI-driven summaries highlight regularity across grades. By bridging language gaps and conceptual understanding, participants build pathways that support long-term mathematical development for all learners.
Participants will learn various routines to encourage student discourse in the math classroom. This learning will happen through watching video, live demonstration, article reading, and exploring student work artifacts. After interacting with the items connected to the routines, participants will engage in discussion about the routines to compare and contrast them and plan for implementation.

Benford’s Law is a probability distribution based on logs that models leading digit frequencies in many real-life datasets, such as social media followers and computer network traffic. It is widely used to detect financial fraud. We will explore a synthetic financial dataset using technology and Benford’s Law.
