Every Student Thinking: Creating Collaborative Math Classrooms

Participants will engage in random groups to solve collaborative thinking tasks at vertical workspace, and experience instructional strategies that increase engagement, discourse, and productive struggle in math classrooms. Tasks will model structures that shift students from passive learners to active thinkers, followed by discussion of the benefits and practical implementation strategies.

This session brings K–12 and college educators together as equal learners, sharing what we're seeing in our classrooms and wrestling with questions we can't yet answer.
